6 Reasons to Choose Metallocene Adhesives

Here are six great reasons to choose Metallocene adhesives available from Pacific Adhesives.

#5 – Better Heat and Cold Resistance – this means broader applicable environment temperature and the boxes stay together better during transportation and storage

#6 – Better Bonding Strength – this economizes glue volume, bonds to materials that are hard to adhere to, and broadens the range of high heat resistance

Bottle Labeling Adhesive for Craft Breweries

Determining which bottle label glue that’s going to work best depends on the needs of each brewery. Factors like the wetness of the bottle, the line speed, and the amount of starting and stopping that a brewery does, all determine the correct label adhesive. This is why not every craft brewery is using the same glue.
Finding the right bottle label glue can be challenging, but at Pacific Adhesives we are here to make things a little easier. We know that there isn’t one bottle labeling glue that is going to work well for every craft brewery.
That is why we have developed a wide range of adhesives to help tackle each breweries challenge. We work with large breweries Coors Brewing and Anheuser-Busch. Working hand-in-hand with a Pacific Adhesives representative we can help find the right adhesive for your craft brewery, and help your business run more efficiently.

Bottle Labeling Adhesive – Optimum Temperature, Optimum Performance

There are a few solutions based on your needs. One, you can use heating blankets for glue totes or drums. This helps to keep large amounts of labeling glue at the ideal temperature.
Also, you can use a heated line that the glue goes through. You may also consider using running a heater that’s built into the machine itself. Another option is to use metal heating bands around your glue containers (especially buckets).
By doing this, you’re going to eliminate down time and have your labeling glue providing optimum pick up and adhesive.

Labeling Poly Bottles Or Poly Coated Glass With Liquid Adhesives

In order to make them gluable with conventional liquid label glues they have to be surface oxidized by flame or corona discharge (electron bombardment).
The treatment will wear off with time. Gluability can be determined with a dyne kit. Our lab can test for gluability or show you how to.
The manufacturers of poly bottles will often offer “treated” bottles. The manufacturers of poly coated glass bottles do not.
Adhering to “untreated” poly bottles or poly coated glass requires specially formulated glues.
